McKinney Senior Photographer Serving DFW

Senior Year Deserves More

Senior year isn’t just another school year—it’s the year. The late-night drives, the Friday night lights, the countdowns, and all the “lasts” that hit harder than you thought they would. Your senior pics should feel like this season: unapologetic, full of personality, and totally yours.

As a McKinney senior photographer serving DFW, I’m here to make sure your photos reflect who you are in this exact moment. Working with me is fun and laid-back—you won’t be left wondering what to do with your hands or worrying about looking awkward. I’ll guide you the whole way through, from planning locations that match your vibe to helping with wardrobe so you feel confident stepping in front of the camera. During your session, expect to laugh, feel comfortable, and maybe even forget the camera is there.

And moms—I see you too. This year feels like it’s flying by, and I know how important it is to have these memories preserved. My process is designed to keep things organized and stress-free, so you can relax, enjoy the moment, and know you’ll walk away with images that reflect exactly who your senior is right now.

These photos aren’t just for Instagram today (though they’ll definitely look good there). They’re for you to look back on years from now and remember exactly what this season felt like—the confidence, the energy, and the version of your senior you’ll never have again.

Let’s plan a session that feels nothing like a photoshoot—and everything like you.

Parenthood is filled with irreplaceable moments that can slip away with time. I’m here to help you capture and keep them vivid.

FAQ

What’s the best time of the year to do my Senior Portraits?

Great question! Ideally, you should be taking your senior photos the summer before or the autumn of your senior year. If you prefer to take them in the Spring, you should be booking your shoot for no later than April to leave time for post-processing and product turnaround before graduation. Spring spots fill up quickly. Please book below as soon as possible if you hope to secure one of these spots. Trust me, booking your shoot for Autumn is the way to go if you can swing it!

How do I know what to wear?

Well before your senior photo shoot, I always send the Senior Prep Guide to help you better prepare for your session. In the guide, you’ll learn all about what looks good on camera, how to incorporate variety into your wardrobe, and which accessories take your shoot from sweet to stunning.

Where will I take my photos?

I am proud to offer my clients a comprehensive location guide with the best spots in North Texas for senior photos. Organized into zones based on personal preferences and proximity, we’ll be able to walk through these various locations to select the perfect backdrops for your senior portraits.

Do you ever offer mini sessions?

Yes! I offer senior mini sessions every season—except winter. You’ll find them in spring, summer, and fall.

Spring minis are especially popular for cap & gown photos, bff sessions, or a quick shoot in your college tee. Each mini session is 15–20 minutes long, includes 12 edited images, and takes place at a set location I choose ahead of time. Sessions are booked back-to-back on one specific day, so it’s super important to show up on time and ready to roll!
